The UNH URC is one of the largest and most diverse conferences of its kind in the nation, showcasing student work from every discipline and 主要 at UNH. The conference features over 20 events and 2,000名学生演讲者, with 400+ UNH faculty members serving as advisers. The role you play in teaching and supporting students with their research cannot be overstated. By encouraging your students to participate in the URC you are giving them their first taste of a professional-level conference.

The UNH 本科研究 Conference (URC) is the largest and most diverse conference of its kind in the nation. 每年, with faculty encouragement, hundreds of students present the results of their research, 学术, and creative projects through posters, 口头报告, and demonstrations at more than 20 events.
Your encouragement is key.
Urge your students to present at the URC by:
- including URC演讲s in your course syllabi;
- extending a class project to culminate in a URC演讲;
- encouraging students working on a senior or honors thesis to present their research at the URC;
- having your students unveil the results of original research at the event.
Online registration for the URC opens during January and will remain open until March.
The step-by-step registration process is quick and easy. Required information includes student(s) name, 是不是邮件, 主要, 类/排名, 家乡/州, 演讲题目, 指导教师姓名, co-authors (if any) and their related information (see above), 事件选择. 学生 can register for more than one event.

- Review the student's content, especially before printing the poster or finalizing the PowerPoint presentation.
- Invite colleagues, encourage students to invite family and friends
- Send email invitations to colleagues, or remind students to invite family and friends. The electronic invitation lets everyone know when and where students will be presenting their work.
- Remind students to wear appropriate clothing (as if they were attending a job interview), and to arrive early - before the presentation - to make sure everything is ready.
